Donations and Dues

We request $10 annual dues to encourage collective investment, but we do not require them if they will be a barrier to participation.

How are the funds used?

All financial contributions go towards school community building and specific needs identified in partnership with school staff, including...

• Giving $100 to ALL teachers at the start of each school year for necessary supplies

• Providing meals and funds for teacher appreciation and team building events

• Purchasing urgently needed items, like emergency wheelchair exit chairs

• Funding after-school clubs and mentorship programs

• Paying the majority of costs for student field trips (15k!) so that all Hampden students can participate, regardless of their ability to pay

• Flexibly responding to school needs in close partnership with school staff, from providing financial aid to families experiencing emergencies to bridging critical funding gaps
